We enjoyed a beautiful California afternoon today. First we stopped for lunch to get Fro-Yo (frozen yogurt) which was delicious. Grace wanted to see the Hollywood sign and we drove off to Hollywood. On the way we passed the site of the Oscars and the red carpet was being rolled out. After seeing the sign we went to the Santa Monica Pier where Grace got to hold a parrot and go in the arcade. Afterwards we stopped in the 3rd Street Promenade for a refreshment and headed home for some pizza and Mexican food. The surgery is scheduled to start at 7:30 am PCT and is scheduled for 8 hours. We are told the time is variable and may be more or less. We will be at the hospital at 5 am. Grace is unbelievable.

Dear Deb, Seth, and Grace,
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a wonderful day today. That's awesome! Honestly, I think the red carpet is being rolled out for YOU. There is no one who deserves more honor or acclaim than all of you. I sit here, in awe of your strength and perseverance, praying for wisdom for all your doctors. Grace is a beautiful miracle who has opened so many hearts with her courage and reminded people just how large their own hearts can grow. All these hearts are joined with yours today - feel the love. I will be at mass in the morning praying for you all. Hang in there. God bless you. All my love,
Yay, got to go to the Pier! One of my favorite places. How cool to see the red carpet... We are all praying for you! AJ has been trying to color a picture for you...but 2 year old boys don't sit still for long, it's taking longer than expected! Lots of love!
